My wife and I bought a parcel of land in May 2016 where the historic landing strip for Fort Ward was located. John Viele was our builder and helped us identify ways to reduce our cost/square foot and critical work with our excavator and drainage engineers to mitigate and divert groundwater away from the foundation. We broke ground in September of 2019 and endured the 2+ month Covid19 mandatory lockdown of home building. Nonetheless, we were able to move in late December 2020 just in time for the holidays. A day does not go by when I just giggle with joy that we’re so blessed to live in such a wonderful, modern, and efficient home. John’s crew of professionals were top notch and his oversight and guidance exemplary. We highly recommend John for any home construction projects — big or small.
